Join a Board

Government boards and committees carry out functions such as governance and management, advice and review, policy development, appeals, community engagement and regulation of professions.

They provide governments with independent and expert advice and are also an effective link between government and the community.

The first NT Closing the Gap Implementation Plan  PDF (4.5 MB) included an action to increase Aboriginal representation on boards, and the NT Government encourages expressions of interest from Aboriginal Territorians over the age of 18.
